Keybird founder Lander Pinson explains how to fine tune your Keybird, after quick tuning.

Fine tuning works just the same way as quick tuning, it’s just a second, more accurate “pass” on all the strings of the Keybird. And more importantly, using some tricks and some practice will give you the best results!

Use the fine tuning procedure when all pitches are close to the ideal, as shown below:

Gradually transition between the following “zone settings”, starting with A-440 and going all the way up, then going from A-440 gradually downwards: the blue line indicates where you need to have the “cursor” (we need to tune “consistently wrong” for the high and low notes.)
